Creating Meaningful Impact
We are a Christian Children's Home which takes care of 30 children saved from the streets of Nairobi's
slums by providing shelter, education, food and salvation to these Angels. Our organization calls itself the Fountain of Grace.
All with varying backgrounds, every one of the 30 children in the center share one thing in common, a sense of gratitude for the
new life and opportunity they have been rewarded.
The Fountain of Grace organisation has been recently established by Pamela Majuma ( mama) and Elizabeth Awimo to help save and
care for vulnerable children from the slums of Nairobi. Originating in 2019, Pamela and Elizabeth has thus far saved the 30 of
the aforementioned children, housing them, providing them with an education and food, as well as showing the children what love and
the blessing of God is capable of. However, the financial situation of such organisation which is ran by them , who relies on the
30€ provided by Small work they do in the community, is one of desperation because isn't enough to cover everything. Although other
family members help the running of the organisation, the financial burden of providing everything for the children, often means some go without.
In 2023 we have been able to receive help from volunteers, community churches, schools and organization who help us time to time.
My projects consist of 4 people who I work with in community and the centre. My mother who is taking care of street kids in the rescue centre she is called Pamela, centre assistance Phanice and Sara taking care of kids then we have Emmanuel tour guide who takes you around the community to interact with other people
Over 500 volunteers from diverse sectors come to us to help save the lives of our children and give them a better future.
We have helped over 1,000 children get their lives together and secure a better and brighter future.
Volunteering at Fountain of Grace Rescue Centre was both an inspiring and truly fulfilling experience. The children's resilience and joy was heartwarming . I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a wonderful cause.
Lizzy is doing amazing work in the centre young and intelligent lady. My experience was the best, the food, friends I met there through Lizzy, Ronnie and the church, safari and kids melts my heart completely and I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is ready to learn and explore .
